Here are my top 50 [color] photographs of live music and musicians. SXSW is one of my all time favorite events and I have volunteered to shoot the festival the past three years but in order to shoot again this year I have to put together my portfolio sooooo why not do a Top 50 post??? This is very difficult yet very fun task as I have shot so many creative and amazing musicians over the years and the photos must be in color. Many times the lighting guy (of girl) love to put a bright red or blue light shining straight down on the lead singer so the best way to make them still look human is in black & white. Photographs are such a wonderful moment captured in time and brings you back to that time and place.
