Oh what a mess! And no, I’m not talking about getting plastered with paint. Heavy incoming traffic, rain, mud, mud, mud, slow runners, mud, and a some paint. Overall, the Color Run was a great time. Would I run it differently? Sure, but the ending was made everything well worth it and we all made some well deserved memories… ColorRun & ColoredLion.com make for some damn bright pictures.

Two days of intense 8-10 hour day shooting, with crew call times of 6:00 am in the morning, and countless hours of editing later… we are proud to finally reveal the trailer for Bri Bagwell’s debut music video produced by Daran Herrman of ColoredLion.com and Christine Chen of Mothtoflamefilms.com. What an amazing journey to the final product. We had a crew that supported us every day and a very talented artist, Bri Bagwell, to work with. So many people have helped to make this possible.

We will be hosting a VIP release party on Feb. 12, 2012 for those who helped to make this video possible. Music Video First Look with Bri Bagwell

MothtoFlameFilms.com, Coloredlion.com, BriBagwell.com, and RogerCreager.com… too many .com’s in a room as producer, Daran Herrman pointed out, met together in Christine’s upscale studio (her room that looks suspiciously like a dorm room) on Jan 25, 2012, to see the 1st cut of Bri’s debut music video. The conclusion? Bri loved it. One of the biggest fears of a filmmaker, in my opinion, is waiting on the verdict of a key stakeholder. Though I am confident in my work, it is always hard to judge what the audience expects. Taste and preference are extremely subjective and what appeals to you may not to your target audience. Luckily, I scored A+’s in all categories (everyone approved) and they haven’t even seen the final product yet! Watch below as Moth to Flame takes you behind the scenes with Bri Bagwell’s first look at her debut music video.

Bri Bagwell Wants YOU to Produce her first Music Video!
Here is a video that I created for Bri Bagwell’s KickStarter fundraising project in order to fund Bri Bagwell’s first music video that will be produced by ColoredLion.com & Moth To Flame. This will be the 3rd time that ColoredLion.com has produced a KickStarter fundraiser for an up and coming band. Let’s hope we can go 3 for 3 in successful projects! Every once and a great while you meet someone that you are absolutely captivated by and make any excuse you can to spend more time by their side. Carianne is that girl. The room shifts when she walks in the room and everyone takes notice. What can a guy do? Well I decide to put 7 carats of diamonds hand cut in Russia on each ear and take pictures (14.75 carats total weight for those who were counting.) $20K and the earrings are yours, add a few zeros for the blonde and get in line.

Here is a preview of a ColoredLion.com photo shoot with photographer Daran Herrman and Bri Bagwell and the Banned. Since Bri is flying all around the country and blowing up in the Texas country music scene I had only about a days notice to prepare for the shoot. Luckily Christine Chen from Moth To Flame Films was available on short notice to help with lighting and did an amazing job. Big thanks to the TownHouse that allowed us to use their amazing location. HEB picked Moth to Flame as one of the 20 filmmakers to shoot a spec for Web and TV usage, targeting Texas moms, showcasing some of their products. I thought to myself, what better way to showcase HEB’s food than to film a real Texas family having a good time? I immediately contacted my friend Emily Albino, whose entire family uses HEB and are born and raised in Texas. Moth to Flame recently shot Emily’s wedding video with Coloredlion.com. Make sure to also check out Nick and Emily’s wedding trailer. Naturally, since we needed to throw a party, I had to invite Daran Herrman from Coloredlion.com to help out. The party is wherever he is.

December 11, 2011, we shot the commercial and had a blast. Thank you to a new member of Moth to Flame Kelsey Parks, who is an aspiring documentary filmmaker for capturing and editing this awesome video log.

Nick and Emily’s Wedding Trailer

I found love. Nick and Emily. They have it and have allowed me to become apart of their amazing life. I did Nick & Emily’s engagement pictures a few months back and have grown closer to them as the wedding approached.

You can feel the energy by just being in the same room of Nick and Emily and I really, really wanted to make sure I can capture this energy on film. So, naturally, I made a phone call to Christine Chen of Moth To Flame Films. She makes me look good.

We pull in to the Vineyard at Florence and split up. Christine gets to be with the bride & her maids and I get to hang with the boys. It was an honor to get to know Nick’s wedding party and get to be apart of everything.

Here is the ‘trailer’ video for Nick & Emily’s big day… My absolute favorite part of their wedding day was when Nick gets to see Emily in her dress for the first time. Love is passion.
