In a time where SXSW, ACL, and even the ATX itself are being sterilized by corporate sponsorships, chain restaurants, luxury hotels and condos.
Thousands upon thousands of men and woman from around TX and the US loudly announce they are not normal and they will take over Austin for another installment of this years ROT (Republic of Texas) Rally. The roar of their machines remind us that they have been a different breed of people since bicycle and motor were first married and do not need a slogan to validate their weirdness. Thank you ROT rally for coming back to Austin year after year and helping keep Austin weird and loud, if only for one extended weekend every June.
